My name is Kim and I am an independent provider offering bespoke, personal online support to young people, families and individuals.
I am a qualified teacher and SENDCo and have worked in the UK and internationally, both in and out of schools, supporting young people right from the earliest ages up into adulthood. I have a degree in Education and a separate degree in Psychology, as well as a post graduate diploma in SEND and a foundation certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have training in UK SEND law as well as knowledge and expertise in a range of additional areas including ADHD, Autism, PDA, speech and language differences, sensory processing differences, therapeutic play, neuro-affirming practice and video-interaction parenting feedback. I am also qualified to undertake cognitive and sensory assessments, which I adapt so that both the process and the following report are neuro-affirming and trauma informed.
I am both neurodivergent and trauma impacted, and I am the parent of a neurodivergent young person who is educated through EOTAS. I understand this work on a personal level, as well as a professional one, and it is important to me that the work I do provides support in the most meaningful, flexible and affirming way that I can.
